SUPERVISORY DEVELOPMENT
INTRODUCTION
The supervisor is considered the bridge between senior management and the operational staff hence he or she must be able to articulate and implement policies and procedures that will impact negatively or positively on the lives of their direct reports.
Successful Supervisors must have application knowledge of all aspects of such areas as motivational skills, controls systems monitoring capabilities, planning methodologies, leadership techniques and many others.
Modern supervisors must also be competent in digital transformation and change management to cope the speed of automation change and new digital tools in today’s fast paced entrepreneurial environment. He or she will enhance organizational profitability if well trained and competent in their performance and guidance of direct reports.
The supervisor’s ability to manage people will determine the level of success relative to staff performance and by extension their productive efforts which in turn will ensure organizational viability.
By the end of your programme participants will have developed the requisite skills and competencies to position themselves for both upward mobility and market attractiveness amongst other opportunities.
